PHOTOS: Santa Margarita Cowboys youth football team opens with two wins

The Santa Margarita 13-and-under Division 1 Pop Warner Cowboys, coached by Mark Graves, opened the 2023 football season with two wins defeating Fullerton 38-8 and San Clemente 32-0.

The high powered Cowboy offense is led by talented quarterbacks Waylon Stone and Bo Johnson who have teamed up with receivers Kellen Owens, Gavin Ploszaj, Hudson Harris and Jake Urquhart for some big offensive numbers.

The running backs have been Chris Fields, Taj Tona, Dom Davidsonand and Cooper Hladek, who have also contributed to the offensive attack.
