Santa Ana High School’s boys basketball team clinched second place in the Orange Coast League with a 67-39 victory over Estancia Monday night at Santa Ana on senior night.
Emmanuel Lemus scored 17 points, Deaven Perez had 14 points and Xavier Valdovinos 10 points to lead the Saints, who led 37-16 at halftime. Santa Ana, ranked fourth in the CIF Division 5AA poll, is 15-8 overall and 7-2 in league.

Estancia (17-10, 4-5) was led by Lewis Tate IV with 13 points and Juan Padilla with 12 points.
“We are really proud of our team,” said Santa Ana Coach Fareed ElMasry. “The defense has been exactly what we want it to be and we are happy with the tone we’ve established. We set goals for the season and even though we didn’t get a league title, we know how good we are. We look forward to our next opponent.”
Santa Ana clinches a playoff spot for the fourth season in a row.
Calvary Chapel defeated Saddleback 75-43 to clinch its second straight league title.
