Katella High School’s boys basketball team improved its overall record to 14-9 with a 52-34 Orange Coast League victory over Segerstrom Friday evening at Katella.

The Knights, coached by Carlo Davis, wrapped up league play 5-3 in second place in the league behind league-leading Kennedy (23-4, 7-0). Katella and other teams will find out CIF playoff draws on Saturday. Segerstrom (10-16, 0-7) wraps up league play Tuesday at Ocean View.
