Estancia and Calvary Chapel have an early season Sigma League football showdown Thursday night at Segerstrom.
Kickoff is later than usual, 7:30 p.m., pushed back because of lower level games for Segerstrom in the afternoon.

Estancia (5-1, 1-0) opened league play Friday with a 25-17 victory over Rancho Alamitos. The Eagles, coached by Mike Bargas, also have non-league victories over Costa Mesa, Katella, University and Pioneer.
“Estancia is looking really good,” said Calvary Chapel Coach Jack McInally. “Their record speaks for itself. Our boys are fired up for the opportunity this week.”
Calvary Chapel (6-0, 1-0) defeated Santa Ana Valley 42-14 Friday night.
“Waldo Castrejon and Daniel Nieves, played excellent games last week,” McInally said. “Colin Wiles threw four touchdown passes.”
Ocean View, Calvary Chapel and Estancia are tied for first place in the league.
