Calvary Chapel High School’s football team captured its second Sigma League victory Friday night, defeating Ocean View 40-6 at Segerstrom.
Coach Jack McInally’s Calvary Chapel team is tied with Estancia for second place.
Matt Peters scored on a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown for the opening score for the Eagles (3-5, 2-1). Jorge Brito had a 17-yard TD reception from Peters to make it 14-0.

Gaige Prichard scored on a 1-yard TD run for Ocean View (2-6, 1-2) to trim the lead to 14-6. The PAT was blocked.
In the second quarter, Isaiah Arriola kicked a 30- yard field goal to put Calvary Chapel ahead 17-6.
The Eagles moved out to a 24-6 lead on a 38-yard TD run by Waldo Castrejon in the second quarter. Peters connected with Jorge Brito on a 26 yard TD reception to make it 31-6.
In the third quarter, Peters had a 27-yard TD run and Arriola kicked a 22-yard field goal to cap the scoring for Calvary Chapel.
Calvary plays Rancho Alamitos Thursday at Bolsa Grande while Ocean View plays at Estancia Friday.
