Football players and coaches from Beckman and Hillcrest arrived well before Saturday night’s CIF 4-A South Regional Bowl game to prepare at Northrup Field. Coach Marcello Giuliano’s Beckman team won a wild back and forth game 46-40 to advance into Saturday’s state final vs. El Cerrito at Buena Park High School. Kick-off is 7 p.m. Beckman will be seeking its first state title.
