He was also 3 for 3 at the plate with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Aiden Marquez was 1 for 2 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored, Jacob Zanaboni scored three runs and Ryan Anema was 3 for 5 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored.
FULLERTON 15, BUENA PARK 3: Connor Sunderland was 2 for 3 with a double, RBI and three runs scored to lead Fullerton (14-6, 6-1) to a Freeway League victory. Malachi Meni was 1 for 2 with two RBI, two walks and a run scored; Niko Mendez was 1 for 3 with three RBI, Kyle Kim was 2 for 4 with two RBI. George Papadatos pitched four innings, allowing an earned run and striking out five.
VILLA PARK 5, EL MODENA 4: The Spartans (15-9, 5-1) were led by Mason Miles, who notched the Crestivew League win. Gavin Grahovac was 2 for 3 with a run scored, AJ Kroedel was 2 for 3, Zach Brown was 1 for 3 with a run scored and three RBI, Andrew Grove was 1 for 3 with a triple and an RBI, Geoff McArthur was 0 for 2 with an RBI and Robby Wiens was 1 for 3 with a run scored.
NORTHWOOD 20, SAGE HILL 1: The Timberwolves (16-8, 12-5) captured a Pacific Coast League victory in a game called after five innings. Jordan Kim and Rylan Littlejohn each went 3 for 3 with three runs scored and two RBI, Paul Grossman was 2 for 2 with two runs scored and an RBI and Kai Mo went 2 for 3 with two RBI. Bobby Bangs went three innings to notch the win. Keegan McLaughlin pitched the final two innings for the second place Timberwolves, who were ranked No. 4 in this week’s CIF Division 4 poll.
FOOTHILL 10, EL MODENA 3: The Knights captured a Crestview League win Wednesday. Andrew Harbour pitched five innings, allowing four hits, two earned runs and struck out four. Adam Ujiie pitched the final two innings. Ty Cowley was 2 for 2 with a double, home run, three runs scored, two RBI and two walks, Garrett Davidson was 3 for 4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, Ezekiel Vargas was 1 for 2 with a triple, run scored and a walk and Mason Souter had a run scored and two RBI for the Knights.
