Pacifica Christian’s boys basketball team will be looking to advance into the semifinal round of the CIF 4AA playoffs with a victory Thursday night over Dana Hills.

The game, a home game for Pacifica Christian, will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel High School in Santa Ana, instead of at Pacifica Christian.

“I am extremely proud of the guys tonight for staying together, believing in each other and fighting through adversity,” said Pacifica Christian Coach Jeff Berokoff. “It’s never easy to play road games in playoffs, so we are extremely grateful to come out of Ridgecrest with a win.”

Pacifica Christian (21-7) advanced into the quarterfinals with a 54-51 victory on the road Tuesday night over Burroughs Ridgecrest.

Solomon Davis scored 23 points and had 15 rebounds and Josh Sims scored 11 points for the Tritons.

Dana Hills (17-10) advanced into the quarterfinal round with a 63-53 victory over Rialto on the road Tuesday night.

The winner moves on to face the winner of the Moorpark-Quartz Hill game in the semifinals Saturday.
