PACIFICA 2, KENNEDY 0: The Mariners improved their record to 3-0 in the Empire League with a victory on Monday. Andrew Stanley pitched a complete game allowing two hits and striking out eight.
Justin Aguinaga was 1 for 2 with an RBI and a walk, Chad Brown was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and Aidan Collin was 2 for 3 with a walk.
SOFTBALL
PACIFICA 8, CYPRESS 0: THe Mariners improved their overall record to 12-0 and league mark to 3-0. Freshman Brynne Nally threw a complete game shutout with six strikeouts. Junior Natalie Benke had four hits and freshman Kaniya Bragg had three RBI.
BOYS BASKETBALL
SAN JUAN HILLS 72, FAIRMONT PREP 62: The Stallions (2-2) were led by Ryan Little who scored 19 points and grabbed 20 rebounds. Mark Reichner added 19 points.
SERVITE 48, SANTA FE 18: The Friars (14-6) were led by Tyler Small, who scored 20 points and Andrew Cook who had 12 points.
