Orange High football coaches are expecting another big season from senior quarterback Daylen Pedroza, who led the Panthers to the Orange Coast League title last season.
Pedroza got his first offer this week from NCAA Division 2 Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio, according to Orange Coach Robert Pedroza.
“I am expecting a huge year from him in our new offensive scheme and he will play some defense this year which we are really excited about,” said Coach Pedroza, no relation to the quarterback.
“The future is bright for him at the next level. He is receiving a lot of Division 2, Division 1AA and Division 1 interest. Whatever college gets him will get an absolute great young man and a very good football player who also has a 3.8 overall GPA. He will be a big-time college football player.”
