Aidan Young was 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI, Dom Gutierrez was 1 for 3 with two RBI, Nate Lewis 1 for 4 with an RBI, Jake Nobles 2 for 3 with an RBI and Jacob Sandoval 2 for 2 with a run scored.
WOODBRIDGE 6, SUNNY HILLS 1: Woodbridge (3-1) was led by Henry Uhrik, who was 3 for 4 with three RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases. Nolan Stottlemyer was 2 for 3 with a double, three runs scored, a walk and three stolen bases and Vaughn Tase was 1 for 3 with two RBI and a walk. Alex Johnson got the win, striking out five in five innings. He also had a double at the plate.
Woodbridge plays at Beckman Thursday.
FULLERTON 4, TESORO 1: Caden Wise pitched the first four scoreless innings for the Indians to earn the victory. Zach Fany was 2 for 4 with a double, RBI and a run scored, Malachi Meni had two RBI and a run scored and Miguel Melendez was 1 for 2 with an RBI.
CORONA DEL MAR 6, SEGERSTROM 0: The Sea Kings (2-0) notched a non-league win Tuesday at Segerstrom. Marcello Anelli pitched four scoreless innings to record the win, striking out four. Isaiah Vasquez pitched two scoreless innings and Will Chavez hurled a scoreless seventh inning. Vincent Menard had a two-run homer for CdM.
LOARA 15, ST. PIUS X 5: Sophomore Nathaniel Douzier pitched five strong innings for the Saxons.
KENNEDY 7, ESTANCIA 1: Tyler Onofre pitched a complete game striking out 10 and allowing two hits. Jonathan Arreola was 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI, Carlos Tapia was 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBI, Axel Rojas was 2 for 4 with two RBI and Anthony Hernandez 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI.
Estancia (1-2) was led by Sean Sweeney who was 1 for 2 with a triple and a run scored. Jacob Ramirez was 0 for 1 with an RBI, Jake Humphries was 1 for 2 and Nico Viramontes was 1 for 3.
The Eagles defeated Bosco Tech 6-3 on Monday. Viramontes pitched five innings striking out six and Jake got the save, pitching two innings and striking out three.
FOOTHILL 4, SAN JUAN HILLS 2: The Knights won a game in the Loara Tournament. Gavin Lauridsen got the win, pitching the first six innings. He allowed two hits and struck out seven. Brayden Biachi got the save. Sean Green was 1 for 2 with a double, two runs scored, an RBI and a walk, Daniel Troncale was 1 for 3 with two RBI, Ezekiel Vargas was 1 for 3 with a run scored and Adam Ujiie was 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored.
