ACADEMY LEAGUE

TARBUT V’ TORAH 77, NEWPORT CHRISTIAN 63: The Lions (9-7, 3-1) notched a key league win Thursday night. The Lions are battling Webb for the league lead.

Matt Olen had 24 points including six 3-pointers, Ari Varon scored 16 points, Ori Maya and Eli Feinberg had 11 points to lead TVT. Feinberg also had seven rebounds and seven assists.

GOLDEN WEST LEAGUE

GODINEZ 70, GARDEN GROVE 43: The Grizzlies (20-5, 5-1) were led by senior Jaiden Torres, who scored 26 points. Godinez is battling Laguna Hills for the league title. The teams meet again on Monday, Feb. 2 at Laguna Hills.

EMPIRE LEAGUE

CALVARY CHAPEL 50, TUSTIN 41: Calvary Chapel (15-8, 4-2) notched a win at home Thursday night. Tustin (13-13, 3-3) was led by Taven Epps who had 13 points and seven rebounds. Peyton Montha had 11 points, four rebounds and three assists, Brannon Hampton seven points and 11 rebounds and Anthony Morales six points.
