Mater Dei 72, St. Anthony 56: Luke Barnett scored 23 points and made five 3-pointers to lead the third-seeded Monarchs (27-5) to a win Tuesday at home. Owen Verna had 14 points, Scotty Belnap had 12 points, Brandon Benjamin had 10 points and eight rebounds, Blake Davidson had nine points and 12 rebounds and Brady Karich 12 assists for the Monarchs.
Mater Dei hosts No. 6 Centennial Thursday night.
Rolling Hills Prep 41, JSerra 39: Aidan Fowler scored 14 points to lead JSerra.

La Habra 79, Cathedral Catholic 68: Acen Jimenez led La Habra, seeded No. 11, with 25 points. Grayson Sinek had 19 points and two steals, Jaedon Anderson 14 points and nine rebounds and Sebastian Esparza 10 points against No. 6 seeded Cathedral Catholic on the road.
“Proud of our boys for going on a road trip to beat a very talented team,” said La Habra Coach Aaron Riekenberg. “We don’t think we’re an 11 seed so I guess we will just have to continue to try to prove that.”
La Habra hosts No. 14 seed King/Drew Thursday night.
