Northwood High School pitcher and outfielder Cal Euper has made a commitment to play college baseball at The College of Idaho, accordng to Timberwolves’ Coach Doug Euper, his father.
Cal Euper was 2-2 last year with a 3.96 ERA and struck out 24 in 26 innings.
“There were many reasons why I chose the College of Idaho,” Cal Euper said. “The city of Caldwell is super neat and with some close family friends nearby, it just felt right. Both the new athletic training facility and stadium are really nice and the team was super welcoming on my visit. The school offers business as a major which I intend to take and has a new library which looks like a great place to study. With all things considered, it seems like a great fit and offers everything I’m looking for in a college.”
Doug Euper played for The College of Idaho where he was an All-American pitcher in 1987 and selected to the school’s athletic hall of fame.
