Northwood and Segerstrom boys water polo teams, who each registered second round playoff victories Thursday, will meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Segerstrom in the quarterfinals of the CIF Division 3 playoffs.
Northwood, the No. 2 seed in the division, defeated Hoover of Glendale 6-5 on Thursday on the road. The match was tied 2-2 at halftime.
Segerstrom, the Golden West League champion, defeated Walnut 19-15.
A time has not yet been announced for Saturday’s match-up.
Northwood opened the playoffs Tuesday with an 18-9 victory over Vista Murrieta.
Also on Saturday, top-seeded Tustin will host Estancia at 3 p.m. in the Division 6 playoffs. The Tillers recorded a 14-3 victory over West Torrance on Thursday.
Foothill will play at Riverside Poly Saturday at 5 p.m. in the second round of the Division 3 playoffs.
