The CIF boys water polo polls are out and there should be a lot of interest among fans, coaches and players with just one week left in the regular season.
Newport Harbor is ranked No. 1 in Division 1-2 and Mater Dei fifth. Woodbridge is No. 9 in Division 1-2 and if that holds up, the Warriors will be top seeded in the Division 2 playoffs next week. The Warriors captured their first Pacific Coast League title last week.
Northwood, the No. 2 team in the Pacific Coast League, moved up to second in Division 3 behind No. 1 Los Osos.
Tustin remains No. 1 in Division 6.
CIF pairings will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 27.
