The Los Angeles Angels will be holding a fan appreciation month through September, officials announced Tuesday.

Since fans aren’t allowed in Major League baseball stadiums across the country because of the coronavirus pandemic, the fan appreciation program will be held virtually on the Angels website as a way to say thank you to their fans.

Angels fans will have the opportunity to win a Mike Trout signed jersey or bat, a Shohei Ohtani signed jersey, a Justin Upton signed photo, or a 2020 foul ball through a sweepstakes by going to angels.com/fanapp according to the Angels.

As part of the program, officials said that longtime fans will be featured as the fan of the game on Fox Sports West and Angels Radio 830.

In addition, from Sept. 2 through Sept. 9, young fans may submit drawings of their favorite Angels players to be used as the player’s at-bat graphic. The artwork selected will then be shown on the video board during the game on Sept. 19, officials said.

Young fans can submit artwork for certain players every day for a week by going to angels.com/draw to take part in the program. More details are listed on the website.

There will also be a social give-away. Angels fans will automatically be included in the fan appreciation sweepstakes by retweeting a post from @Angels to receive Angels items such as a Mike Trout signed photo, Andrelton Simmons signed bat or photo and other prizes, officials said.

There will also be a number of prize give-aways, including a family 4-pack of one-day passes to the San Diego Zoo.

The Angels also announced that the team store at Angel Stadium will be open on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and there will be 25 percent discounts on some items.
