Laguna Hills defeated Buena Park 7-1 in a tournament road game to improve its record to 5-2. Junior Scotty Kato pitched six innings allowing no earned runs. And Mike Burke also pitched one inning allowing no unearned runs.
Zach Ferranto and Billy Schellenberg each had two RBI for the Hawks.
