JSerra infielder Colby Canales made it official this week and signed his national letter of intent to play baseball for University of Pacific.
Canales played third base and shortstop for the Lions.
“The Canales family invited me to their home on Tuesday while following social distancing guidelines to witness the young man sign his National Letter of Intent with University of Pacific,” Kay said Thursday by Email.
“Colby is a talented young man on the field, and most importantly off the field. He has been raised the right way and been through the ringer this past year. I was elated for him, and his family for him to get this opportunity to play at the next level where I know he will excel as a student-athlete.”
