Godinez reaches finals of Estancia Coast Classic with 78-20 victory over Rubidoux

Godinez High’s boys basketball team reached the finals of its eight-team bracket at the Estancia Coast Classic with a 78-20 victory over Rubidoux High of Riverside Saturday night in the semifinals.

The Grizzlies (11-5) will face the winner of the Estancia-Arrowhead Christian winner in the finals Monday night at 7:30 at Estancia.

Andrew Valdez led Godinez with 31 points. Eric Lopez had 12 points, Joseph Lopez and George Te nine points each and Roger Aquino seven points.
