Garden Grove boys basketball team captures championship at Los Amigos Tourney

Garden Grove’s boys basketball team won the Los Amigos Tournament last week.

Garden Grove’s boys basketball team, behind the outstanding play of Sebastian Castro, a 6-4 senior, captured the championship of the Los Amigos Tournament on Saturday defeating Pacifica 54-41.

Sebastian Castro of Garden Grove was named the tournament MVP at Los Amigos.

Castro, the tournament MVP, scored 98 points in the tournament and had 43 rebounds.

Castro was an all-CIF and league MVP player last year.

Garden Grove, 8-2 overall, also defeated Glenn 80-44, California 74-64 and Oxford Academy 66-58.
