Daniel Dolan from University is headed to play at Amherst College.
Former University High running back Daniel Dolan is looking forward to competing for Amherst College football in Massachussetts.
Dolan is scheduled to be a wide receiver for the program, which begins practice on Tuesday, Aug. 28.

Dolan was honored as a Scholar Athlete at the National Football Foundation OC Chapter Banquet. To be eligible for this honor a player needs to be first team all-league and have a 3.5 GPA throughout all four years of high school.
Dolan was also honored as a CIF-SS Champions for Character Recipient.
In his senior year, Dolan rushed for 846 yards on 100 carries and had 19 catches for 249 yards. Dolan had 12 rushing touchdowns and recorded three receiving touchdowns and was named to the Irvine all-city offensive team.
