It’s another big day for Patrick McMorris, the former star running back and defensive back on the Santa Ana Saints football team.
Patrick McMorris announced on Twitter today that he is making his second recruiting visit to San Diego State.
Saints’ Coach Charlie TeGantvoort confirmed the visit with OC Sports Zone.
“Pat is actually at San Diego State right now,” Te Gantvoort said this afternoon.
Two other Saints: defensive end/tight Nicholas Larriva and wide receiver/defensive back Drew Ramirez are also weighing their options for college.
“Nick already went to Wyoming,” TeGantvoort said. “And Drew is headed to Columbia and Cornell for official visits this month.”
The three players were instrumental in Santa Ana recording a 10-3 record and winning the Orange Coast League title.
The Saints advanced to the semifinal round of the CIF Division 8 playoffs, losing to Kaiser, 51-33.
