Pacifica High School’s football team, led by sophomore quarterback Darius Cowens, opens the season Friday night, playing at Fullerton High School.
“We are fairly young this year but are looking for growth this spring season as we prepare for the fall 2021 season,” said Coach Vinnie Lopez. “We are excited to get started and get in some games for our seniors. Our goal is to win the Empire League.”
Other top players for the Mariners include senior wide receiver Jamaal Fisher, senior wide receiver/safety C.J. Washington, senior lineman Tim Kim and junior lineman Sean Mora.
