Estancia High School’s girls flag football team, coached by Nate Goellrich, clinched a spot in the CIF playoffs with a 20-6 victory over Loara Monday.
It’s the first year that there will be CIF sanctioned playoffs.
Jaydin McClure completed 18 of 30 for 213 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Eagles (10-4, 5-0). Kate Jennis had three catches for 20 yards
Aisleen Avalos had seven catches for 129 yards and three touchdowns, Paloma Silva had four catches for 32 yards and Crystal Rodriguez had an interception. Avalos also had an interception for Estancia.
