It’s a big week for Orange County high school boys basketball teams competing in tournaments in the county, Southern California and out of state.
The Estancia Coast Classic begins on Monday, Dec. 26 at Estancia High School and features 12 teams competing in four pools. The championship game is Friday, Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m. according to Estancia Coach Xavier Castellano.
Besides Estancia, Santa Ana, Segerstrom, Pacifica, Irvine and Godinez are among teams entered.
Estancia pool play schedule:
Monday, Dec. 27:
Santa Ana vs. Valencia. 3 p.m.
Pacifica vs. Godinez, 4:30 p.m.
Segerstrom vs. Rubidoux, 6 p.m.
Estancia vs. Vista Del Lago, 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 27:
Vista Del Lago vs. Los Amigos, 3 p.m.
Irvine vs. Santa Ana, 4:30 p.m.
Godinez vs. Santiago, 6 p.m.
El Modena vs. Segerstrom, 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 28:
Valencia vs. Irvine, 3 p.m.
Pacifica vs. Santiago, 4:30 p.m.
Rubidoux vs. El Modena, 6 p.m.
Los Amigos vs,. Estancia, 7:30 p.m.

Crean Lutheran, Orange Lutheran and Dana Hills are among the squads competing in the prestigious Damien Classic.
Cypress is competing in the Las Vegas Prep Classic beginning Monday. The Centurions, coached by Derek Mitchell, open against Cheyenne Monday night at 7.
The Orange Holiday Classic is being held this week at Orange High School.
Tustin High School is the site of the annual Tustin Classic which starts Thursday and runs through Friday. Among the teams in the tournament are Los Alamitos, the defending tourney champion.
