CREAN LUTHERAN 4, TUSTIN 2: Zach Tittle had a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give the Saints (17-7, 4-2) the lead. Michael Panichi pitched five innings, allowing four hits, striking out five and allowing one earned run. Tate Fitzgerald got the victory, pitching two innings, Luke Wilson was 1 for 3 with a stolen base for the Saints, who took another step toward securing a CIF playoff berth.
PORTOLA 8, UNIVERSITY 3: The Bulldogs (2-15) were led by Luke Shen, who was 2 for 4 with two doubles, Dillon Derazo who had two hits and three RBI, Josh Liu, who was 2 for 3 with a triple and Michael Shen, who had two hits and scored a run, according to Coach Kevin Conlin.
BECKMAN 6, NORTHWOOD 2: Kyle Lee pitched the first five innings striking out five to get the win for Beckman (13-5). Ashton Kanaegae had two hits and two RBI for the Patriots.
Jonathan Lee had three hits and Darren Shorter two hits and an RBI for Northwood. Henry Jia also drove in a run for the Timbverwolves.
