Crean Lutheran, Mater Dei and Fairmont Prep girls basketball teams notched wins Saturday at special events.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA CLASSIC

CREAN LUTHERAN 69, BUENA PARK 62: Crean Lutheran (15-2) notched a win on Saturday at Rancho Cucamonga, tuning up for the start of league play this week. Sydnee Norwood had 25 points, Micaela Hanning 21 points and Elise Randolph eight points to lead the Saints. Crean Lutheran opens Century League play Tuesday at El Dorado.

KIERNAN CLASSIC

MATER DEI 83, CENTENNIAL 30: The event was named after Kevin Kiernan, former Mater Dei girls basketball coach and athletic director. Addie Deal of Mater Dei was named tournament MVP. Deal led Mater Dei with 22 points, 10 assists and four rebounds. Kaeli Wynn had 19 points, four rebounds and two assists, Lanie Stores had 11 points and four rebounds and Devyn Kiernan 10 points, five assists and eight rebounds for Mater Dei (15-2).

FAIRMONT PREP 63, SAGE HILL 46: Adyra Rajan of Fairmont Prep was named MVP of the game.
