Corona del Mar’s baseball team captured a 5-0 non-league victory over West Covina Saturday at home.
Matt Wilks got the victory, allowing three hits and striking out two in four innings.
Carter Haight led the Sea Kings offensively, going 2 for 3. Reece Berger was 1 for 2 with a double, RBI and a walk and Blake Butcher was 1 for 2 and scored two runs, according to Coach Kevin McCaffrey.
CdM (8-3-1) host Newport Harbor Wednesday at 4 p.m. in a game that will be played at Orange Coast College.
