GIRLS OPEN DIVISION: Santa Margarita defeated Santiago 4-2, avenging a 2-0 loss to Santiago in last year’s CIF Open Division finals. Friday night, the Eagles jumped out to a 2-0 lead before going on to win at Fred Kelly Stadium Friday night.
GIRLS DIVISION 6: Thacher defeated Whittier Christian 5-4 in penalty kicks after the match was tied 0-0 after regulation.
BOYS OPEN DIVISION: JSerra recorded a 2-0 victory over Loyola in the finals Friday night at Fred Kelly Stadium. It’s the third CIF title in program history for the Lions. Senior Gavin Allegaert put the Lions ahead 1-0.. Freshman Finn Wilkins scored the other goal for JSerra (17-0-1).

Girls basketball
DIVISION 2A: Rolling Hills Prep made two free throws with no time remaining to defeat Rosary Academy 51-49 in the final at the Toyota Arena in Ontario. Both teams are headed to the CIF Regionals.
