OPEN DIVISION
JSERRA 63, SANTA MARGARITA 51: The Lions (22-8) won in the open division pool play game at Santa Margarita Friday night. JSerra avenged two Trinity League losses to the Eagles. JSerra was led by BJ Davis-Ray who had 17 points in the first half to help the Lions move out to a 33-23 halftime lead. He wound up with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Brannon Martinsen added 19 points and Earl Bryson 10 points for the Lions.
Santa Margarita was led by Drew Anderson, who had 14 points and five rebounds. Rodney Westmoreland had 13 points and Brayden Kyman 12 points.
DIVISION 1
CREAN LUTHERAN 62, BRENTWOOD 52: Crean Lutheran (17-11) rallied from a third quarter deficit to win on the road Friday night. Matt Ciftcikara had 19 points and Caden Jones 15 points to lead the Saints, who will host Campbell Hall Tuesday. Campbell Hall defeated Crespi 79-66.
MATER DEI 71, ST. PAUL 67: Luke Barnett had 28 points and four 3-pointers and DeMarcus Henry 25 points and 11 rebounds. Mater Dei plays at Santa Barbara Tuesday.
LOS ALAMITOS 56, LB POLY 56: The Griffins won a thriller at home Friday. Trent Minter scored 16 points and Wes Trevino and Samori Guyness had 13 points each to lead Los Alamitos. Los Alamitos will be the road team for Tuesday’s game with Rolling Hills Prep.

PACIFICA CHRISTIAN 60, NEWPORT HARBOR 37: EJ Spillman scored 21 points, had eight rebounds and five assists and Michael Noel 11 points to lead the Tritons. Joaquin Rigdon added nine points, Logan Stewart had seven points and Hudson Reynolds had three points, five rebounds, five steals and two blocks to lead Pacifica Christian. Pacifica Christian will host San Juan Hills Tuesday night.
SAN JUAN HILLS 82, CALABASAS 61: Mason Hodges scored 30 points and Adam Aziz 17 points to lead the Stallions, who play at Pacifica Christian Tuesday. Garrett Brehmer had 15 points and Cameron Goltara 10 points for San Juan Hills.
Fairmont Prep 70, Village Christian 68

IRVINE 66, PASADENA 57: Irvine had a balanced scoring attack to notch its 21st straight win. The Vaqueros move on to the quarterfinals Tuesday at Long Beach Cabrillo.

CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 74, EL TORO 72 (OT): Capo Valley Christian escaped at home with a 74-72 victory over El Toro. CVC had a double digit lead for most of the game until El Toro went on a 29-14 run to start the fourth quarter to take a five point lead with 32 seconds to play only to see the lead evaporate and go to overtime.
The Ahern brothers combined for 46 points for the victorious Eagles (Matthew 27 and Michael 19) to go along with two other players in double figures: Benjamin Makalela (11 points) and Shaunt Kechejian (10 points off the bench).
Senior point guard Christien Jimenez put El Toro on his back finishing with 38 points (18 in the fourth quarter plus overtime), five assists and five steals. Kaleb Bass had 11 points and nine rebounds. Lydo Smith (seven points and six assists), Sean Mendoza (seven points) and Isaiah Newkirt (six points) also contributed.
