Corona dar Mar High School’s standout tight end/wide receiver Scott Giuliano signed a letter of intent to play college football at Harvard.

The 6-5, 230-pound Giuliano was a key player on last year’s CdM CIF and state championship team.

“I took a visit to the Harvard campus back in February and really liked what I saw,” Giuliano said in an Email Friday.

“The combination of football, academics, and tradition was what attracted me the most. They also utilize multiple tight ends in their offense and currently have many tight ends starting in the NFL. Coach Tim Murphy, Coach Logan Johnson and the rest of the Harvard coaching staff believed in me from the start of the recruiting process.

“I would like to thank the entire CdM football coaching staff, family and teammates for being with me every step of the way.”

CdM Coach Dan O’Shea added:

“Scott Giuliano was nationally recruited with a multitude of scholarship offers. Having chosen Harvard, he felt the possibility of attending one of the premier universities in the world was a great match to their football program.

“His versatility as an athlete will allow Scott to be a huge addition to the Crimson offense.”
