Newport Harbor (1-3, 1-2) was led by Justin McCoy, who had the Sailors TD.
“The game is the most important event of the year if you are a football player in the community of CdM and as we have grown accustomed to, it was a typical rivalry game with Newport Harbor,” said CdM Coach Dan O’Shea.
“Big plays, stingy defense and a whole lotta of great football on both sides. We are thrilled to celebrate eight straight victories against the Sailors, and especially this year which had challenged the physical and emotional well being of all young student athletes in this community especially when the season was uncertain. A great night to be a Sea King!”
