Calvary Chapel High School’s boys basketball team took a one-point lead at halftime and went on to defeat Costa Mesa 58-53 in an Orange Coast League game Friday at Calvary Chapel.

The Eagles, who led 39-38 after three quarters, were led by Rafael Sermarini, who scored 14 points. Calvary Chapel is 11-8 overall and 4-1 in league play.
Christian Dasca of Costa Mesa led all scorers with 18 points. Riley Weinstein added 13 points for the Mustangs (8-11, 3-2).
