Big crowds expected for CIF quarterfinal round playoff games Friday night; final scores

It’s a big night of high school boys basketball as Orange County teams compete in the quarterfinal round of the CIF playoffs. In the open division, pool play concludes for Mater Dei and Crean Lutheran.

Big crowds are expected throughout Southern California as teams try to earn berths in the semifinals next Tuesday. Click here for Friday’s final scores:

Fans planning to attend games should check with the home sites on tickets, which can only be ordered on-line. Pacifica Christian officials indicated Friday afternoon that the Edison vs. Pacifica Christian was a sellout. Games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
