Corona del Mar High and Newport Harbor High Schools will be the site of the 2022 Beach Bash Boys Basketball Tournament that begins on Monday, Dec. 5.
The tournament wraps up Saturday, Dec. 10 at CdM at 8 p.m. with the championship game.
Among the teams in the tournament are Crean Lutheran, Tesoro, Calvary Chapel, Foothill, Pacifica Christian, San Clemente, Los Alamitos, St. Margaret’s, Corona del Mar, Newport Harbor, Portola and two teams from a school in Australia, according to CdM Athletic Director Brian Walsh. Tesoro and Portola are both coming off strong showings at the Mariko Memorial Classic.
Most of the games are at CdM.
Portola defeated Trabuco Hills Saturday in the last game of the tournament.

Crean Lutheran vs. Sage Hill, 8 p.m.
Pacifica Christian opens play on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Newport Harbor. The tournament continues on Thursday and Friday with a full slate of games on Saturday.
