Portola pitcher Patrick Connolly Jr. has signed with Occidental College to play baseball, according to Bulldogs Coach Kevin Conlin.
The senior righthander was having a great season.
“Patrick has really good stuff on the mound and is 3-0 this season,” Conlin said. “He’s been another great leader for our team and has had a big impact on our season thus far.”
Portola was off to a 5-3 start in Conlin’s first year as head coach before athletics were suspended throughout the state.
