….Corona del Mar won a thrilling Surf League baseball game over Laguna Beach, 3-2 in nine innings and there were some very exciting Pacific Coast League baseball games. Woodbridge defeated Irvine 5-4 in eight innings and Beckman and University captured victories.
…Also, UCI’s men’s basketball team notched the biggest win in school hitory, stunning No. 4 Kansas 70-64 in the NCAA Tournament to move onto the Round of 32.
