Santa Ana and Orange football teams meet Friday night at Chapman University in a battle for first place in the Orange Coast League.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m.
The teams are tied for first place in the league. It will be a home game for Orange.
Here’s some facts you need to know about the game:
Records: Coach Charlie TeGantvoort’s Santa Ana team is 6-3 overall, 4-0 in league; Coach Robert Pedroza’s Orange squad is 8-1 overall, 4-0 in league.
Last year’s game: Santa Ana defeated Orange 29-0 at Santa Ana Stadium to capture the league title.
This year’s league games: Orange: defeated Saddleback 49-14, Costa Mesa 43-0, Estancia 61-14 and Calvary Chapel 53-7.
Santa Ana: Defeated Costa Mesa 40-9, Calvary Chapel 35-6, Saddleback 42-0 and Estancia 36-6.
Last league titles: Santa Ana: 2018 (also won Golden West League titles in 2017 and 2016. Orange: 2003.
CIF rankings this week: The teams are in separate CIF playoff divisions so would not meet in the playoffs. Orange is ranked seventh in Division 10. Santa Ana is ranked 10th in Division 8.
Ticket info: As of 1 p.m., Tuesday there were about 450 tickets left for the game, according to Orange Athletic Director Alica Seevers. Tickets may be purchased at the front office at Orange from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 4 p.m., she said.
