JSERRA 79, CARLSBAD 54: Brannon Martinsen had 25 points, BJ Davis-Ray had 20 points and Jarne Eyenga 15 points to lead the Lions (24-10). The No. 4-seeded Lions move on to play at top-seeded Sierra Canyon Saturday in the regional semifinals.

DIVISION IV

CANTWELL SACRED HEART 53, TESORO 42: Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary leveraged a full court press forcing 16 first half Tesoro turnovers en route to a 27-16 halftime lead. The No. 1 seeded Cardinals held serve in the second half despite Tesoro grabbing 32 second-half rebounds and won this second round match at home.

Tesoro shot just 23 percent for the game, but did have over 50 rebounds while CSHM had roughly half of that total. CSHM shot a better 37 percent from the field.

Tesoro finished their season 24-12 after going just 4-23 last season. The Titans were led by senior Jade McMahon with a double-double of 16 points and 20 rebounds (9 offensive).

Junior Sammie Burkett added 10 points while sophomore Addison Hossfeld made two 3-pointers for six points. Junior post player Charlotte Marvin had four points and 10 rebounds.

CSHM improved to 24-8 and is now 23-1 when holding teams to under 50 points.

Senior forward Marina Leiva had 16 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Sophomore guard Leilani Dominguez had 15 points, three 3-pointers, five rebounds and three steals.

Senior point guard Alicia Lara had an outstanding floor game with 11 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
