SAN JUAN HILLS 78, SANTA ANA 34: The Stallions opened the season with a win against the host Saints. Mason Hodges scored 25 points, Adam Aziz had 20 points and Rocco Jensen 12 points to lead the Stallions.
NEWPORT HARBOR 64, YORBA LINDA 47: The Sailors were led by Jack Berry, who had 19 points.
TRABUCO HILLS 48, UPLAND 43: Tai Gan had 15 points and six rebounds to lead the Mustangs. Trabuco Hills meets Loyola Wednesday at 5:50 p.m. at Santa Ana High School.

SANTA MARGARITA 81, OAKWOOD 54: The Eagles were led by Drew Anderson, who had 20 points. Kaiden Bailey added 17 points in his first game with the Eagles. Dallas Washington had 16 points and Brayden Kyman recorded six assists for Santa Margarita, which takes on Valley Christian next.

PORTOLA 76, ML KING 59: Brady Kim scored 30 points, Brandon Toorani 14 points, Bently Nguyen 11 points and Max Paulsen nine points to lead Coach Brian Smith’s Bulldogs.
WOODBRIDGE 63, SIERRA VISTA 40: Jaiden Sabino scored 16 points and had five steals, Jason Briggs scored 13 points and had nine rebounds, four steals and five assists to lead the Warriors. Briggs also had four blocks.
VILLA PARK 78, VICTOR VALLEY 48: Villa Park was led by Dakari Harris, who had 18 points and six rebounds, Mal Johnson, who had 15 points, three assists and four steals and Tristan Griffin, who had 11 points, four assists and six steals.
SAN CLEMENTE 79, FULLERTON 26: Christian Fernandez had 34 points and four 3-pointers. Porter Hansen scored 20 points and had eight rebounds and two blocks and Chase Tolliver 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Tritons.

CYPRESS 69, CERRITOS 51: Cypress was led by King Birdsong who had 17 points and two 3-pointers and Jackson Houston who finished with 16 points and two 3-pointers.
Cypress heads to their cross town rival on Friday to take on Los Alamitos.
“It was good to get our first game jitters out of the way before we go take on Los Al,” said Coach Derek Mitchell. “Our guys have been working hard all preseason and played with good energy.”
Cypress plays at Los Alamitos Friday.
AMBASSADOR CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 52, JSERRA 48: The Lions dropped the season opener in Huntersville, N.C. Senior Jarne Eyenga led JSerra with 15 points. Senior Grayson Sinek added 14 points. JSerra battled back from a six-point deficit after three quarters to take the lead before Ambassador Christian rallied to notch the win.
TARBUT V’TORAH 94, NOTRE DAME RIVERSIDE 53: Ari Varon led the Lions with 34 points followed by Jake Coblentz-Brown with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Matt Olen added 14 points and Eli Feinberg 11 points. Graydon Carpet, last year’s assist leader, had 12 assists to go with nine points for TVT.
