Irvine Pony Baseball’s 32nd annual Memorial Day Tournament gets under way with opening ceremonies Thursday at Harvard Park in Irvine at 5:30 p.m.
“This will be our 32nd tournament and we are back in full swing,” said tournament director Stacie Sloniger.
The tournament will have 286 teams, the largest field ever.
“Mexico is bringing 21 teams from Shetland six-under to Pony 14-and-under. We are also welcoming a team from Utah, the Nephi Flyers 14-and under,” Sloniger said.
