BECKMAN 3, LOS ALAMITOS 0: Rex Jarcy (9-2) went the distance for the Patriots, who moved ahead 3-0 with three runs in the fifth inning in the semifinal at Los Alamitos in front of a big crowd.

Beckman will meet St. John Bosco, which defeated South Torrance 2-1 in the other semifinal either Friday or Saturday at Lake Elsinore Stadium for the Division 3 title.

SOUTH EL MONTE 2, BUENA PARK 1: The top-seeded Coyotes lost their semifinal Tuesday at home.

DIVISION 8

PACIFICA CHRISTIAN 4, SAN BERNARDINO 3: The top-seeded Tritons won their semifinal at Orange Coast College to advance into the CIF finals for the first time. Scout Escobedo had a walk-off single to win it for the Tritons.
