Northwood High’s girls soccer team captured its second consecutive Pacific Coast League title, going 7-0-3.

The team went undefeated in league and clinched the title with one game left.

The top scorer was Lauren Arnold, followed by Nadia Amin.

The team captains Katrina Loye, Sami Alarcon and Kaylee Nguyen did a great job of keeping their team spirit up and working hard right until the last minute of the last game against Beckman, in which the Timberwolves won 3-1.

The coaches are Cory Dilbeck, Gabe Smith and Catalina Valousky.

The team will open the CIF Division 1 playoffs at home next week, most likely on Wednesday.
