Defending CIF Division 1 and state open champion Mater Dei is seeded No. 1 in the CIF playoffs, which features an eight-team bracket and will begin play on Friday, Nov. 15.
The Monarch (10-0), the Trinity League champions, will play at home vs. Bishop Amat. Trinity League runner-up St. John Bosco (9-1) is seeded second, Centennial of Corona (8-2), the Big 8 League runner-up is third and Mission Viejo (10-0) is the No. 4 seed.
