Crean Lutheran High School’s girls basketball team wrapped up a perfect season in the Empire League defeating Tustin 57-34 Thursday night at Tustin.
Sophomore point guard Maddy Nguyen had 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals; junior guard Jane Hewitt had nine points and three assists; and junior guard Savannah Brawley had nine points and six rebounds to lead Crean Lutheran (18-6, 10-0).

“We want to give all the Glory to God for being in the position to have the opportunity to win the final Empire League title,” co-head coach Bianca Ziemann said Friday.
“Thank you to my staff for all their hard work and dedication. Thank you to our amazing players who worked hard to reach this point. Let’s go Saints.”
It was a memorable week for Crean Lutheran, which clinched the outright title Tuesday with a victory over Cypress and Ziemann was honored for her 100th victory with the Saints.
CIF playoff pairings will be announced Sunday.
Tustin (15-13, 3-7) is eligible for apply for an at-large berth in the CIF playoffs.
