Final preparations have been made for the 63rd annual Orange County North-South Classic Saturday at 7 p.m. at Newport Harbor High School.
Rick Feldman of Cypress will coach the North team and Peter Lofthouse of Newport Harbor will coach the South in the game featuring many of the top senior football players in Orange County.
The game is sponsored by Costa Mesa United.
“It has been fun coaching a great collection of North OC talent,” Feldman said earlier this week. “We hope we play well enough to break the streak.”
The South won last year’s game 30-17, extending its winning streak to seven games. The South leads the series 33-26. There have been three ties.
