Crean Lutheran boys basketball team advances to second round with 67-66 victory over Sonora in 2A playoffs

Crean Lutheran’s boys basketball team opened the CIF 2A playoffs defeating Sonora 67-66 Friday night at Sonora.

The Saints (16-13) were led by Chris Swardstrom with 18 points. Aiden Gilbert had 17 point, Jon Scherer 15 points and Josh Shin 10 points.

Crean Lutheran moves on to the second round Tuesday night to host Redlands East Valley, which defeated University 65-61.
