Ocean View settles issue early in 58-6 victory over Vasquez

Ocean View players get ready for the pre-game coin toss.

Ocean View’s football team improved its record to 2-0 with a 58-6 nonleague victory over Vasquez Friday night.

The Seahawks jumped out to an early lead, scoring on their first two offensive plays of the game.
First there was a 65-yard TD run by quarterback Noah Hickman on the first play from scrimmage.
On the first play of Ocean View’s second possession, Hickman connected with Brandon Alcaraz for a 34-yard TD pass.
The majority of the starters only played in the first half and Ocean View led 51-0 at halftime.
Hickman was 4 of 4 for 104 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 98 yards on nine carries and five touchdowns.’
Jobe Belles rushed for 60 yards on four carries, Raelen Bruce rushed for 56 yards on six carries and a touchdown, Rodrigo Adame had 44 yards on two carries and Will Earthman had 41 yards on two carries.
Earthman had one reception for 37 yards and a touchdown, Brandon Alcarez had one reception for 34 yards and a touchdown,Naeco Logan had one reception for 24 yards and Rodrigo Adame had one catch for nine yards.
